Come join us as we welcome ken hall and Tim Harrison and their interactive display of fur trapping. Here’s your chance to visit the north American frontier at the end of the 18th / beginning of the 19th century when beaver was king as the “furry bank note”.

Visit the canoe camp and talk with the long hunter and the Canadian voyageur on how they lived and worked in the wilderness that was the home to the fur trade.

Demonstrations including cooking, trapping, furs, weapons and accoutrements of the era.

Special programs presentations at
